Housing Stewards

The Housing Stewards is a program that empowers residents to advocate and support affordable housing efforts in their communities. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of housing policies, zoning laws, history and the challenges surrounding affordable housing in Massachusetts.

Harborlight Homes has gathered data from communities it serves as well as those in the vicinity of our footprint to determine “housing friendliness” and the local policies required to encourage and support the production of affordable housing. This collected data highlights the progress made in various communities while setting a strong foundation for future impact. Harborlight Homes encourages the implementation of these local policies to expand affordable, stable housing for more individuals and families.
